Coming from Creative Director Krishnavamsi, Mahatma is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Mahatma is very special to hero Srikanth, this being his 100th film. Krishnavamsi, who usually goes with his script and requirements, for the first time has done the work with the hero in mind. Audio of the film was released on 21st September. Tushar Gandhi, great grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, attended the event as chief guest. Tushar Gandhi, who does not normally entertain attending such events, read the synopsis of the film and immediately agreed to attend the event. In fact, talking to the media on the audio event day, he said that such films, which are taking the principals of Gandhi to the common man, should be encouraged.
